INFORMATION COLLECTION AND PRIVACY
We collect personal information only for the purposes of providing goods and services, processing online sales, administering book circles and our loyalty program, and providing direct emails about events or newsletters.
Your personal information is never disclosed to third parties except where necessary for these purposes. All administration involving customer information is done in-house by employees of Shelf Lovers (ABN 71961388976).
We collect information using Microsoft Outlook for emails and CircleSoft book management software. We process payments securely using the Square system instore and the eWay system for online sales. We do not store your credit card details, nor do we have access to them.
You may request to be removed from our loyalty program or mailing lists at any time. You can do this in person, by phone or email to shelflovers@outlook.com.
Please note, we reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights/and or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on us or our website.
ONLINE PAYMENTS
Shelf Lovers uses the eWAY Online Payment Gateway for its online debit and credit card transactions.
eWAY supports payments from all major card schemes including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Diners.
All payments processed using the eWay Payment Gateway are fully secured, with all monies transferred directly at point of purchase from your credit or debit card account to the merchant account held by Shelf Lovers.
Your complete credit card number cannot be viewed by Shelf Lovers or any outside party. In addition, all transaction data is encrypted for storage within eWAY’s bank-grade data centre, further protecting your credit card data.

RETURNS, CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
If you purchase something in store or online and:
Find there is a manufacturing/printing issue with the item or it arrives damaged through no fault of your own
Shelf Lovers staff generally check all items to ensure quality and do their best to package items appropriately for safe delivery, however in this situation Shelf Lovers will replace or refund items where sufficient proof of original purchase and damage/issue is provided. Please contact Shelf Lovers as soon as possible after receiving the item to discuss.
You change your mind or find you already have it at home (or the person you bought it for already has it at home)
Shelf Lovers is happy to exchange the item for another or provide a credit note/voucher if the item is returned within 14 days (with proof of purchase) and the item is in an unused, mint condition. You will be responsible for any costs incurred to return the item to us and for sending replacement items to you. If the new item costs more than the original purchase you will be required to pay the difference. Similarly, if the new item costs less, we can either refund you the difference or issue a gift voucher for the value at our discretion.
You no longer require the item and it has not yet been supplied

Please note:
Refunds can only be processed to the debit/credit card used for the original purchase and due to the systems and processes used by Square and eWay, refunds may take 2-14 days to make it back your account.
All refunds, exchanges and replacements are decided on a case-by-case basis in line with the above. Shelf Lovers reserves the right to refuse refunds, exchanges and replacements on reasonable grounds and in accordance with relevant consumer laws.
Gift Vouchers are valid for 3 years from date of purchase and are not refundable.
